Lemon Tree Hotels Ltd has announced the opening of Aurika, Mumbai Skycity, the third property in the company's upmarket Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand.
The occasion marked the opening of India's largest hotel in terms of room count. "I am delighted to announce the launch of Aurika, Mumbai Skycity, our largest project to date," stated Patanjali G Keswani, Chairman & Managing Director of Lemon Tree Hotels. This luxurious hotel, located near Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport (Terminal 2), has 669 rooms and suites and is now India's largest hotel (by number of rooms). This is our third hotel under the Aurika Hotels & Resorts brand, as well as our third hotel in Mumbai, and I think that it will serve to meet the growing demands of both business and leisure travelers visiting the City of Dreams. This launch also puts us one step closer to our four-year objective of increasing our entire inventory, including existing and upcoming rooms, to 20,000+ rooms."
As with its predecessors, Aurika, Udaipur, and Aurika, Coorg - Aurika, Mumbai Skycity is founded on local culture and heritage. This hotel pays homage to Mumbai's renowned architecture and cinematic heritage, delivering a unique combination of the past and contemporary.
