According to a survey of over 2,000 respondents from the UAE and Saudi Arabia, the location was the most visited attraction in the UAE during the previous 12 months.
Global Village was chosen by nearly two out of every five UAE residents, making it twice as popular as any other site. Magic Planet came in second, followed by Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo.
Global Village also topped the list of attractions that respondents would like to return to in the next 12 months, with more than a third of those polled indicating a desire to visit the park within the next year.
During Season 27, the attraction attracted a record 9 million visitors, with more than 90 cultures represented over 27 pavilions and 40,000 performances from over 40 different countries. Guests may also enjoy over 175 rides and attractions, shop and dine at over 3,250 stores, and watch 77 different fireworks shows.
Global Village announced an extension to Season 28 earlier this month. It will be open for 194 days (about 6 and a half months) this year, from October 18, 2023 to April 28, 2024.
