A stunning new hotel and residential development is coming to Al Marjan Island, Ras Al Khaimah, offering luxury hospitality and leisure. The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences, by award-winning developer Almal Real Estate and the Palladium Hotel Group, will transform the island with unique architecture and immersive wellness, dining, and entertainment experiences.

Opening in the second half of 2026, and valued at $280 million (Dh1 billion), The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences combines natural elements with modern design. The development will feature 422 luxury units with stunning views of the Arabian Gulf, an infinity rooftop pool, a beach club, a spa, gardens, and five dining outlets serving international cuisine.

Architectural Brilliance

The design of The Unexpected Al Marjan Island Hotel & Residences blends seamlessly with its natural surroundings. “The property embodies luxury and natural beauty, thanks to the exceptional work of the Design & Architecture Bureau (DAR),” says Mohammad Khader, Head of Project Development at Almal Capital Investments. “Their innovative design and attention to detail have set a new standard for luxury hospitality in the region.”

Using light-colored materials and dynamic lighting, the property transforms from serene by day to vibrant by night. “Features like an LED-lit archway and backlit fabrics mimic the sea’s movements, enhancing the sensory experience,” adds Khader. “This design ensures the architecture integrates with the coastal setting by day and comes alive at night.”

Pre-launch Sales

Investors can join this project with exclusive pre-launch rates for hotel and residential units. Hotel rooms start at Dh1.6 million, with premium rooms from 1,420 square feet, standard rooms from 460 square feet, junior suites from 566 square feet, and suites from 1,005 square feet.

Residential units start at Dh1.7 million, with studios from 522 square feet, one-bedroom apartments from 1,122 square feet, and two-bedrooms from 2,544 square feet.
