National holidays for the public and private sectors in 2024 have been proclaimed by the UAE Cabinet.
New Year's Day, which falls on the first public holiday of 2024, will be followed by Eid Al Fitr, the celebration of the conclusion of Ramadan.
The Gregorian dates of some holidays, which are based on the Islamic Hijri calendar, are determined by moon sightings.
This indicates that a timeframe of two to three days will encompass these vacations.
Arafat Day might fall on Saturday, June 15, 2024, while Eid Al Fitr could occur between Monday, April 8, and Thursday, April 11.
Sunday, June 16 is a possible date for Eid Al Adha, which is observed between Monday, June 17, and Tuesday, June 18.
The Islamic New Year may, nevertheless, occur on Sunday, June 7, 2024.
Sunday, September 15, might possibly be Prophet Mohammed's birthday.
Meanwhile, National Day, which comes on December 2 and 3, will be the following public holiday for this year.
